Registration
All presentations are expected to be in-person. Exceptions may be granted only for circumstances beyond the presenter’s control, such as a visa denial. To request an exception, submit an official confirmation of your visa appointment to demonstrate your effort. The program chairs will make the final decision.
All papers in the program must have at least one author registered at the appropriate rate for their presentation modality and status. Authors approved for virtual presentation pay the same registration rate as in-person presenters. Papers with no registered author will be removed from the proceedings.

Visa Support Letters
The registration form includes a field to request a visa support letter. We issue letters only to registrants who have completed registration and paid the applicable fee for their category.
Student Travel Grant
ISCA student members may be eligible for a travel grant. Note that SIGDIAL 2026 is not currently listed on the ISCA grant site, but the process of getting it listed is underway. Please refer to the ISCA grant site for details:

Additionally, SIGdial plans to support a limited number of students for paper presentations at SIGdial. Priority will be given to presenters making international travels. This grant is made to only those who complete the early registration.

- Main Conference + Workshops registration includes admission to all conference and workshop sessions, conference materials, refreshments during coffee breaks, and the social event (August 4).
- Workshops Only registration includes admission to all workshop sessions on August 2.
- There is no Main Conference Only option.
- Call for student volunteers will be announced after the paper acceptance.
- Early registration ends on July 6, 2026, 11:59PM UTC-12:00 (“anywhere on Earth”).
Cancelation Policy
- Cancellations of registration up to one month prior to the conference (July 2) will be refunded the full amount paid (minus up to $50 processing fee).
- Cancellations up to three weeks prior to the conference (July 9) will be refunded any amounts paid over $200.
- Cancellations after three weeks prior to the conference (July 9) and all no-shows will not be refunded any amount.
